Original Antique French Bronze Ormolu Mantel Clock
- ?Bronze ormolu case with embossed ivy design
- Stands on stepped feet to the front and plain feet at the back
- Beautiful bust on top, supported by scrolling griffin-like creatures at either side
- Glass door to rear to allow access to the movement
- Two winding holes for the two trains of the movement
- Small knob at the top for making fine adjustments to timekeeping
- This strikes the half and counts the hour on a bell
- Movement will run for approximately 8 days when fully wound
- Clock has a good action and keeps good time
- Comes complete with winding key and original numbered pendulum
- Clock measures approximately 51cm (20 inches) high by 27.5cm wide and 16cm deep
- Condition is generally very good
- This clock is a genuine antique so it will inevitably have minor signs of age and wear - but on this clock they are minimal
- Movement has been cleaned and oiled and is in full working order
