An early 19th century Georgian mahogany gated clothes or towel rail. The rail or airer has a platform base that is lifted on four curved short legs, the centre rail has a pair of hinged gates to increase hanging capacity. The rounded top uprights have three cross hanging rails with an extra bottom rail to the gates. The clothes rail is in good condition.
