george iv carved and gilded pier mirror

Circa 1820s, George IV carved and gilded pier mirror. With a raised section featuring a carved basket of fruit and flowers, and a foliate carving of springs tied with ribbon beneath. It has ribbed pilasters which are capped with leaves and to the base are 2 small carved flower heads. The back has the makers label of ‘S.B.Fuller, Decorative Picture Frame Maker, Gallery of Fine Arts, 61 Pall Mall London, Removed from 34 and 35 Rathbone Place’.

The business grew so rapidly, they couldn't keep up with their inventory needs. Their goal has been to create a one-stop-shop where designers can complete an entire project from antique lighting to antique furniture to accessories. Scotland's largest antiques warehouse is located in a converted whiskey bond in historic Leith Edinburgh. With 50,000sq ft over five floors we offer a wide range of quality Georgian, Victorian and Edwardian furniture, as well as continental and small decorative items. Our stock is constantly changing.
