A small oval Charles X box in mother of pearl and gilded bronze with its flower shaped key. The lid has a white nacre plate, decorated with a central medallion showing colorful flowers on a gray background, dried under a curved glass, gilt bronze frames adorned with vines branches and honeysuckle. Friezes of stylized flowers and gilt bronze foliage are set around the edge of the lid and the box which themselves are circled with openwork galleries. The two high handles are adorned with cornucopias, honeysuckle and foliage. Fine quality of carving.
