Rare table-clock - inkstand in white flamed mother-of-pearl and gilded bronze. The lower part resting on claw feet shows two inkwells with their bucket lids decorated with Saint-Jacques shells and mother of pearl scales imitation, and a penholder. The upper part is decorated with a central clock signed on its silver and chiseled dial "Johnson in London". It is surmounted by a Cupid wearing a small oval mirror. Under the clock, two young winged Tritons hold garlands of flowers. The upper part decorated with openwork foliage can be detached from the bottom. The back is lined with the same decoration on bronze and resumed in chasing. Some lacks of the nacre.
