An exquisite and very grand Empire style writing table in mahogany with beautiful ormolu mounts and gold tooled leather writing surface.It is finished all round so it is freestanding. It has three large drawers to hold all your paperwork. There is no mistaking its unique quality and fine Empire style design, and it will soon become the centrepiece of your furniture collection. This gorgeous writing table will instantly enhance your reception, office or home library and attract attention wherever it is placed. Ormolu features heavily on this piece. It is gilded bronze and was used to ornament furniture and mouldings, most popular during the 19th century. Measurements The writing table is 79 cm (31 in) x 182 cm (6ft) x 100 cm (3ft 4 inches).
