An early 20th century Edwardian cheroot holder and its sterling silver case. The case holds its original cheroot or cigarette holder that is an amber colour and has a mount with gold hall marks for 9ct gold, Birmingham and a date mark for 1904. The silver case has hall marks for Chester, the year 1904 and the maker's mark for William Manton. A cheroot is a filterless cylindrical cigar with both ends clipped during manufacture. Both the case and holder are in good condition. (Circa 1904) Length 6cm (2.4 inches) Diameter 2cm (0.8 inches) Case Weight 17g Edwardian Cheroot Holder & Silver Case
