An early 20th century Edwardian cheroot holder and its sterling silver case. The case holds its original cheroot or cigarette holder that is an amber colour and has a mount with gold hall marks for 9ct gold, Birmingham and a date mark for 1904. The silver case has hall marks for Chester, the year 1904 and the maker's mark for William Manton. A cheroot is a filterless cylindrical cigar with both ends clipped during manufacture.
