A rare and exquisite Freedom casket bearing hallmarks for Henry Wilkinson, Sheffield, 1938 and it comes with it's original wooden ebonised stand. This is a truly exquisite casket with fabulous embossed decoration and an enamel coat of arms for the Borough of Finchley, London. It bears an inscription which states that it was presented to Aldeman Charles Stephen Surett with the Honorary Freedom of the Borough of Finchley, 20th July 1939. It contains a beautiful hand painted and inscribed scroll attesting to the above. Measurements: 18cm high x 29cm wide x 17cm deep It weighs approx 47 troy ozs Condition: It is in truly excellent condition and ready to grace a special place in your home.
