...........................................................................Description:BEAUTIFUL 'AS FOUND' EARLY 19th CENTURY REGENCY OIL PAINTING - DIRTY & UNFRAMED
A wonderful original early 19th Century Regency Oil Portrait painting depicting a young farming family beside a small pond with two Swans.The fabulous Country scene portrays an early period cottage in the background surrounded by tall trees.Beneath the dirty painting surface can be seen some a number Chickens, two Swans in a small pond and the young family seemingly holding some straw or Hay and attempting to beckon the Swans closer to them.The work is in it's 'as found' original condition and requires just framing and a good clean.It appears to have been relined during the turn of the Century so there is no major work to be completed other than the cleaning of the old varnish etcWe have been unable to find a signature but it is quite possible that a signature will appear once the cleaning process begins.The painting is superb quality and certainly deserves far more researchA remarkable example and a fantastic future investment.The asking price includes our 'Free' UK mainland fully insured delivery service.
