Superbly stylish is this wonderful Art Deco 8 day mystery clock by Kienzel. Beautiful pale blue /grey colored glass and nickel plated desk timepiece, typical of the 1930s and totally authentic. The nickel case is polished and lacquered. The chapter ring has raised Roman numerals on the rim which is supported on two simple supports and elongated slim plinth. The modernist styled clock hands are contained within the two sheets of circular grey-colored glass.
The eight-day movement by Kienzle is hidden behind the central disk. It has a built-in key, and has been fully serviced by an horologist so comes to you in good working order. This is a rare and beautiful clock is in above average vintage condition. A large and impressive size ideal for mantel (fireplace) area, sideboards or desk.
Condition Details
One light scatch on the glass at six o'clock. You can only see it when you lean the clock back.
