We present this Art Deco bronze sculpture with a 20th century marble base.

The base is rectangular of a beautiful green Alps marble, used for precious ornamental works. Its intense green color makes green Alps marble a material suitable for elegant and precious settings.The bronze sculpture in green patina depicts an Olympic athlete in the throwing of the weight in the moment just before the final push.The sculptor captured the exact moment when all the muscles of the body are pulled to the maximum: the left arm is in perfect line with the shoulders, in a diagonal position aiming at the sky. The right arm is contracted, bringing the hand with the ball to shoulder height, ready to release all the force for the launch.The detail of the legs, the right (which helps in the push) with the more contracted muscles of the left makes the sculpture even more real.
