There is no mistaking the style and sophisticated design of this exquisite English antique Victorian solid mahogany extending dining table, circa 1860 in date and set of 8 solid mahogany balloon back chairs, comprising 6 chairs and a pair of armchairs for the heads of table. This stunning dining set will stand out in and become a key piece in your furnishing collection. This amazing table has an original leaf and can comfortably seat 8 people. This striking table has been hand-crafted from solid mahogany which is not only strong, but has a beautiful grain, and can be seen in the photographs of the table top. The leaf can be added accordingly to suit the occasion by a special winding mechanism. When completely wound in, the table is transformed into a five foot six inch ( 173 cm ) dining table. The table sits on it's original brass and porcelain castors which makes it easy to move when required. This gorgeous table will make a profound impression on your dinner guests or clients and will receive the maximum amount of attention wherever it is placed. The set of eight Victorian style balloon back chairs include a pair of armchairs. They are of solid mahogany and have been upholstered in beautiful cream damask.
