antique victorian dining table & 8 chairs burr walnut

A truly fantastic antique Victorian dining table. An extremely rare opportunity to own an antique Victorian burr walnut dining room table, Circa 1880,and 8 chairs, comprising 6 side chairs and 2 armchairs. It will seat 8 comfortably and 10 in a pinch. The table has its original wind out mechanism and has two leaves which can be added when required. The table has also been crossbanded with around the top to finish it off masterfully. This table was made by a master craftsman and should last for generations more. The chairs are from the second half of the 20th Century and compliment the table beautifully. They have been hand carved in soild walnut and are upholstered in leather which is a browny burnt orange in colour and in excellent condition. The table and chairs are in superb condition and have been French polished to revive them and bring out the beautiful grain of the walnut. The set comprises the following: Dining table, in solid walnut with wind out mechanism and 2 leaves that can be added as required The table measure 75 cm High x 244 cm Wide x 120 cm Deep when fully extended. It measures 75 x 128 x 120 when completely closed The 2 leaves can be added one at a time as required and measure approx 45cm each. A set of 8 walnut chairs comprising 6 chairs and 2 armchairs, the leather upholstery in excellent unmarked condition
