This is a wonderful antique teapot by Hunt & Roskell, late Storr & Mortimer, with hallmarks for 1869. It is beautifully hand made in silver by Hunt & Roskell one of the best silversmiths of the period who continued the work of one of the greatest silversmiths of all time, Paul Storr. There is no mistaking its unique quality and design, which is sure to make it a treasured piece by any discerning collector. Paul Storr was born in London in 1771. Apprenticed to Andrew Fogelberg in 1785, he set up his own workshop in London in 1796. He was renowned for his elegant, naturalistic designs.
