    Antique Mahogany Inlaid Longcase Clock.
    W. Hunter, Campbeltown. Circa 1820.
    Painted dial with a ship in arch and anchors in spandrels.
    Nicely made mahogany case with flame veneers and inlays.
    8-Day movement in full working order striking on a bell.
    ref 3299
    With nice original painted pendulum bob; unusually decorated with a fish.
    Dimensions in inches taken at their greatest points.
    85 High x 18.25 Wide x 9.25 Deep.
    Signed on dial. William Hunter. Circa 1820
    William Hunter Sr. Clock and watchmaker Campbeltown, Argyll. 1803-34
    Son of Thomas Hunter, a sailor
    William Hunter Jr. born 1813-1881 apprenticed to his father
