This is a beautiful antique Dutch lowboy, Circa 1760 in date. It is in fantastic condition and we have French polished it to bring back it's original splendour. It is hand crafted from burr walnut with wonderful floral marquetry decoration and stands on four elegant Queen Anne legs. It has a useful large drawer and two smaller drawers. Measurements : 73 cm height x 78 cm width x 50 cm depth Condition: In excellent condition. Lowboy - is an American collectors term for a dressing table or vanity. It is a small table with one or two rows of drawers so called in contradiction to the tallboy or highboy chest of drawers. Both lowboy and tallboy were pieces of the 18th century.
