This is a stunning, late 18th Century, Dutch bureau.It has been accomplished in solid walnut , the drawer linings are of solid oak. The fall opens to reveal a fabulous interior with a myriad of small drawers and several secret compartments, there is a small central cupboard, with a mirrored door which is flanked by a pair of columns with gilded bronze capitelli.The front of the bureau is a wondeful double serpentine shape and it stands on lion''s paw feet.It is Circa 1780 in date and is in truly remarkable condition for its age. The handles and locks are all original. This exceptional piece represents a fantastic example of 18th century Dutch cabinetry at its very finest.It is in truly excellent condition.Measurements:Height 117 cm x Width 137 cm x Depth 68 cm
