    An extremely rare and fine antique softwood carved novelty pair of Nutcrackers modelled as a hare with upturned ears and lever mechanism and glass eyes, carved Himmelbjerget 1923 on the front handle - a Danish souvenir.

     
    Himmelbjerget is a hill located between Ry and Silkeborg, Denmark in the area known as Søhøjlandet. With a height of 147 m, Himmelbjerget is one of the highest natural points in the Danish landscape.

    Good Overall Antique Condition with a couple of places of damage to the ears (should be an easy job to either re-model of fill) - sold as seen please view images - a wonderful item - uncleaned
