art deco bronze figurine & borzoi dog by chiparus

You are viewing an amazing bronze art deco casting depicting a lady and her two borzoi dogs. The piece is the epitome of art deco style and stands firmly on the black marble base. This is a recast of the famous ''Eternal Friends'' by Chiparus.

I hope the photos go some way in conveying the beauty to this work of art, it''s certainly better in the flesh and would be the talking point of any collection. The bronze is of the highest quality casting and features a lovely brown finish.
Borzoi dogs were very popular in the 20s and they also somehow encapsulate the style and elegance of the time with their refined sleekness. The piece is offered in perfect condition ready for home use right away. The marble is also chip free and in perfect condiion. We were lucky enough to purchase this from an auction in Chelsea in London.
    Dimensions are in inches:
    Width x Depth x Height
    13 x 5 x 13
