Circa 1920
Tracian kilims are also known as Sarkoy or Thracian, they originate from Western Turkey or the region known as European Turkey or The Balkans.
The weave is very tight and fine, the design is typical of the region, note the beautiful border
This kilim has very good age, the colours have softened with use
Fair condition with some wear, some old re-weaves
Hand washed and ready for use.
