Antique Persian Bakhtiari ?garden? rug
Circa 1900/10
A superb example of the classic Bakhtiari garden design, beautifully drawn with excellent colour
The rug is an earlier example than many that are seen in the market today
The colours give the rug a soft almost pastel feel
Excellent condition with very slight even wear, good pile, the rug has a very soft feel, with good wool.
The rug is of tribal / village nature and as such is of slightly irregular shape, as can be seen.
Hand washed and ready for use.
