Offered in a truly exhibition quality condition and most definitely the finest quality Watercolour painting that we have had the pleasure in offering to date, is this late 18th Century / early 19th Century portrait painting depicting a young fisherman boy standing within a beautiful landscape setting.The fabulous image portrays this charming young Regency boy wearing a buttoned waist coast, a smart collared shirt, grey trousers and a pair black leather loafer shoes. He is standing against a large tree trunk with he's legs crossed and holding a fishing rod in both of he's hands.Within the distance a small herd of sheep can be seen, and beyond that a large country expanse of landscape.The attention to detail throughout the work is truly remarkable and almost life like in it's execution.A guaranteed future investment and a wonderful painting which would benefit from further research.The asking price includes our 'Free' UK mainland fully insured delivery service.
