A pair of important ovoid green marble and ormolu ornamental vases on a square base decorated on all faces with interlacing. Two gilt bronze rolled snakes going down to the base form the handles. The upper part of each vase is adorned with a frieze of interlacings composed of a serpentine line and foliages. The flared collar terminate with ormolu foliage, striking godrons and pine cones.
