This outstanding totally original Watercolour painting depicts an angling scene with the anglers catch of the day laying besides the river bank together with their fishing tackle.The attention to detail throughout the work is truly exceptional, with amazing depictions of the Salmon & Trout Fish.Roland Knight (1879-1921) was a highly skilled and very sort after angling artist during the late 19th Century, early 20th century and this example dates to the Edwardian period, Circa 1905 - 1910 and is mounted within the beautiful glazed gilt & ebony dragooned frame which suits the painting beautifully.Signed lower right corner and offered in 1st class condition throughout, this marvelous painting will be a superb addition to any art collection and is ready to be enjoyed immediately.
