a french restauration bisque and porcelain table set with three openwork baskets and winged women

Created under the French First Empire, the fashion of fruit and “sweetness” baskets supported by figures continues to be popular under the Restoration. Our exceptional porcelain and biscuit table centerpiece is composed of three openwork baskets raised on female figures.

The circular base of the pair of cups raised by lions paws, is extended by two winged women supporting, them too, the openwork cups.
