19th century victorian burr walnut work table / writing table

For sale is a good quality 19th Century Victorian Burr Walnut Work Table / Writing Table. The shaped top, rising to reveal a hinged leather writing surface to the interior. Below this a single fitted drawer, with satinwood inlay to the front. This is above a pull out basket which has further storage and is also inlaid. The table stands on turned and carved columns, terminating on shaped legs with original castors. This piece is in very good condition, having only minor wear commensurate with age and use. This piece comes complete with a sales receipt from 2003, stating that the item was purchased from Keys Auctioneers for £2,200.
