For sale is an exhibition quality 19th Century Solid Mahogany Kidney Shaped Desk by Maple & Co, London. The top having a hand dyed tobacco brown leather hide, with decorative gold tooling. Below this, there are three drawers, each ornately carved having shaped brass handles. Each side of the desk has an arrangement of three drawers, each with carved mouldings, all differing slightly as they graduate. Around the desk on the sides and the back, there are matching panels with carved mouldings, as well as a further two panels on the sides of the kneehole of the desk. Standing on elegant squat cabriole feet the desk is in superb condition. The centre drawer is stamped "Maple & Co". This desk has been constructed to the highest quality, using fine timbers and materials throughout.
