A 19th century Dutch brass planter. The planter is raised on three cabriole legs that have shell knees and claw feet. The planter has a dovetailed seam and a rolled top edge and is covered in embossed decoration of swags, grapes and facets etc. The planter has three lion masks with ring handles, one above each leg, along with a tin liner that lifts out. The planter and liner are in good condition. (Circa 1870) Height 31cm (12.2 inches) Diameter 29cm (11.4 inches)
