An 18th century George III mahogany tea caddy with box wood and ebony inlays. The tea caddy has a shaped lid with inlays bordering the edges and framing the original cast brass handle. The interior is divided into three compartments which would have held three canisters for tea. The caddy is in good condition. (Circa 1770) Height 16.5cm (6.5 inches) Width 26.5cm (10.4 inches) Depth 14cm (5.5 inches)
