    It is a privilege to offer this superb 19th Century oil on canvas painting of an Angel.
     
    The rear is inscribed "Clara Champ April 15th 1865 - August 19th 1865. Along with some other Inscriptions that I can't quite decipher.
     
    The painting is in great condition, the canvas is tear free. Some small paint chips can be seen, one of has been touched up but overall in fantastic condition for it's age.
     
    The frame presents very well with no substantial damage. The top of the frame could possibly benefit from cleaning and a touch up.
     
    Overall a very special painting worthy of a caring new home.
