This is a simply beautiful Tiffany & Co vintage watch, dating from the 1950s and in excellent condition throughout - the photos don’t do this lovely watch justice so you are guaranteed to be thrilled with the actual watch. The watch features a gleaming solid 18ct gold case - heavy in the hand so plenty of gold - a gorgeous dial and a very high quality Swiss movement. The watch was made for Tiffany for the European market by Universal Geneve, one of the most respected watchmakers of all time. The movement has just been cleaned and oiled by a professional watchmaker and is in excellent working order for its age. The watch comes complete with a quality cocktail strap with gold-plated fittings and a new watch box. The watch is large for the era - case measurements are below - so easy to see the time. Will provide an excellent financial investment and a family heirloom. Please note that the gold is brighter than photographed. It is yellow gold but a lovely deep rich gold, not bright 'bling'.

The solid 18ct gold case is in excellent gleaming condition and measures 26.5mm wide, excluding the original winding crown and has lovely fancy lugs. The back of the case closes correctly and the outside back carries the ‘1046894’ serial number and the ‘18363’ model number. The inside back is signed Universal Geneve and Swiss and carries the appropriate hallmarks for Swiss solid 18ct gold.Dial:
The beautiful dial is in perfect clean condition and features Arabic numbers. It is signed ‘Tiffany & Co’. The original hands are in excellent unbent condition, and the lens is very clear.Movement:
The high quality hand-wound movement (Cal 258/Serial 173917) was made for Tiffany by a Swiss watchmaker Universal Geneve. Tiffany are a luxury brand and did not make their own watches during this era. The movement is centre jewelled and very fine. It has just been cleaned and oiled by a professional watchmaker and is in very good working order.Strap:
As mentioned, this lovely watch is on a quality cord cocktail strap, which is in excellent condition and has gold-plated fittings. The watch will fit a 6.5” wrist and can be shortened to fit by releasing the cords from the clasp, resizing, and then reattaching the clasp.
