This gorgeous ring, handcrafted toward the end of the Victorian era, holds five lustrous gems: At the heart of the head, a dark blue round mixed-cut sapphire glints in the light, complemented by the yellow gold claws holding it in place. On either side of the sapphire sits a sparkling old European cut diamond, loaded with brilliance and personality, used to space the two sapphires that sit at the ends of each side of the head. The stones complement each other perfectly in their classic and forever stylish combination, while the open claw setting allows light to flow throughout the ring, accessing the stones from every angle and perfectly bringing out the colour and sparkle of the sapphires and diamonds. The stones graduate down in size slightly from the central sapphire, allowing the central stone to sing.
The graduating stones work perfectly with the gently sloping shoulders of the piece, finished with subtle lined detailing that slims out into a plain, polished finish, sleek and smart.
