This mesmerising cluster ring holds seven stunning old cut diamonds in total, set in a floral cluster formation. The central stone is the largest, with a wonderful liveliness and sparkle that instantly draws the eye; Each stone bordering it has the same qualities, but each has a gorgeous uniqueness that comes with these hand-faceted antique stones. Unlike modern brilliant-cut diamonds, old European cuts have a more prominent culet and larger facets, creating broad, warm flashes of light rather than a sharper sparkle.
The stones are grain set in a platinum setting plate, bringing out the diamonds' F-G colour beautifully. The contrasting gallery is in yellow gold, with the head being framed by yellow gold knife-edged shoulders, leading to a band with a plain, polished finish. Inside the band are two clear stamps - '18CT' and 'Plat', telling us that this ring is crafted from 18ct gold and platinum, confirmed by electronic testing and assessment.
