the antique carnelian engraved shoulder signet ring

This signet ring features a carnelian gemstone framed by elegant scroll detailing to the shoulders and around the head. The shoulders lead into a plain yellow gold band.
This ring, circa the early 20th century, is hallmarked, likely by the Assay Office of Birmingham for 9ct gold pre 1976; the date letter 'P' is worn, but is most likely the date letter for 1914-1915 .
