rare pair of chippendale style leather stools

We dont recall ever having had a pair of stools like this before, singles yes but a pair no. This most attractive pair in mahogany date from the early 1900s and come from the up market cabinet makers Maples. They have been freshly French polished and reupholstered in antique finish leather. The leather is finished in proper close studding around the edge not the nasty strip type. The cabriole legs which terminate in a ball and claw have clean crisp carving and good colour.
A great pair at a sensible price and ready to go.
