Late 19th early 20th century semi-oval shaped automobile passenger foot warmer. This warmer is made of brass and is covered completely by a patterned fabric and is 30cm wide by 19cm depth by 9cm high.

This semi-oval shaped cylinder foot warmer has a pullout compartment at the front end which would have allowed for some form of pre-heated form material possibly coal, to be placed inside the compartment and which would then heat the foot warmer for the passenger whilst journeying. The patterned fabric covering the warmer shows various signs of wear and proving that in those early days of the automobile when wasn’t any heaters, having a warmer for those journeys was a necessary piece of travel equipment. This automobile foot warmer is very good condition and would be an excellent addition to collectors of early auto-memorabilia.
