A pair of circular water colours, depicting a variety of hens and cockerels in a country setting, with a circular slip contained in square gilded frame with fine details to the corner, the bottom of the painting is signed ‘Helen Lawrie 1866’ and on the reverse there is a trade label for ‘Thomas Murray Dundee’ and hand written note; ‘This painting was drawn by Helen Lawrie in 1866. Helen was Pamela and Emily’s Great, Great Mother. The pair in good colour and excellent condition.
