Original in plot and presentation, Faberge silver paper knife, last quarter of the 19th century. The handle of which is a figure of a peasant cutting a log, and the blade is a tree thinned under his work. The flat base of the roots simultaneously functions as a pedestal, allowing the knife to be displayed vertically and viewed as an artistic object and an attractive writing desk item.
