Circa 1900. An interesting oil on canvas depicting of rural scene with trees with cloud background, foliage in the front, signed on the bottom ‘A.K.B’, the painting is contained in a stylish moulded gilt slip with a gilded oak middle section with foliate carving on a raised lip, with an egg and dart section behind. The back of the painting has the remnants of a dealer or gallery at 254 Sauchiehall Street, Glasgow. The frame, gilding and painting are in excellent condition.
