Life Size Rattan, Wicker And Bamboo Harley Davidson, Design Attributed To Tom Dixon B.1959 Circa 1980-90
This handwoven type of Harley Davidson’s where used for Habitat’s showcases and possibly made in India.
Tom Dixon is a famous English designer and from 1998 till 2008 he was the artistic director of Habitat.
His work is also in the collection of the Victoria and Albert Museum the Mona In New York and Centre Georges Pompidou In Paris.
This piece demonstrates Dixon’s early experimental form and structure.
Overall in very good used original condition, with beautiful old warm natural colour.
