Florentine furniture is characterized by the heavy use of gilding on wood and very elaborate carved decoration.
The frame comprises a centered leaf shield, richly carved grapes,pieced leaf and flowermotifsthough out, barley twist to the top and sides and the bottom is centered with a scalloped shell.
