Signature, office bronze Infantry officer of the old guard. H-59, see Alfred Olson. Demonstrates the proud posture of an officer of the old guard, slightly turned towards the viewer and leaning on a saber. Confidence and challenge resonate in his open face and posture. The dignity of a brave person in the face of circumstances and death is striking in the image of a soldier of the great guard. The figure is mounted on a stone pedestal with a silver plaque with a dedicatory inscription: Minnesgava Fran Kungl Gota officerskar till Carl Herslow. 1895 - 1927. Hallmarks: GHL, Hallmarks of Sweden. Alfred Olson 1868-1940 Swedish sculptor.
