    Chryselephantine bronze and ivory figurine Woman with a Hoop. Created by Georges Morin in 1920, this exquisite figurine is a superb example of Art Deco sculpture. The composition shows an elegant girl frozen in motion with a hoop in her hands. The figure is made of gilded bronze, skillfully combined with smooth ivory, which is used to depict bare arms, legs and chest. The girl, depicted in a dynamic pose, radiates the expression and grace characteristic of Morin`s work. Each element is carefully designed, conveying the liveliness and energy of movement. Graceful lines and elegant forms emphasize the aesthetic value of this sculpture. The pedestal of the figurine bears the author`s signature, which confirms its authenticity. The figurine comes with a CITES certificate certifying that the ivory is legal. The total weight of the product is 600 grams. France 1920s.
