ITEM DESCRIPTION: Oxford / Cambridge Boat Race Interest! Original Antique Large Pewter Three Handled Tyg / Tankard with Glass Bottom. Decorative Handles. To one side are the Arms of Clare College, Cambridge, to another side is engraved Senior Trial Eights 1899, to the other side listed the complete Rowing Crew. This is ideal as a display item or could be used as a Wine or Champagne Bucket when watching a Boat Race or even at the Races. It does hold ice/water. Circa late 19th Century.
