    For sale is a high-quality antique German table clock featuring its original mechanical verge escapement movement.

     
    The clock is housed in a solid wooden case with glazed doors and an ornately decorated metal dial with Roman numerals. It is equipped with a striking mechanism and reliably strikes the full hours.
     
    The hand-wound mechanical movement is complete, clean, and fully functional. Its technical condition is clearly visible in the photos and reflects careful preservation over generations.
     
    Based on construction, technical execution, and stylistic features, the clock can be dated to the late 18th to early 19th century, approximately between 1780 and 1830.
     
    This period represents the transition from early traditional clockmaking to more refined precision craftsmanship, making surviving working examples increasingly rare.
