    Antique Antique Art Deco Glass Modernist Simonet & Dieupart Table Lamp C.1923

    A wonderful extremely rare Art Deco Modernist Table Lamp, the moulded glass shade having 3 semi circles protruding a cylindrical column and with rounded top decorated with blossom and stood on a silvered base. Shade with various impressed marks for Simonet Frères and Henri Dieupart

     
    Please note, base uncleaned in images - please see last image where the base has been cleaned, still has good finish
     
    Circa : 1923 - 1928
     
    Good Antique condition - looks rewired about 1950-60's - recent safety test label underneath - light wear to silvered base as expected commensurate with age , base a little mis-shaped mentioned for accuracy but please see images

    Henri DIEUPART is known for the stone sculpture "Spring" of a naked woman Vase, Art Deco glass.
     
    He also collaborated actively with the Simonet Freres with the realization of many Art Deco glass items. Parts were signed jointly.
