an 1890 american wooden cased mantle clock

This is an 1890 American wooden cased mantle clock with basic hourly chime and stamped USA New Haven

Inside the case and at bottom half there has been stuck to the back panel, a print of the American bald eagle and positioned on top of this print is the bell chime. The wooden case of this clock is quite basic although the bottom part of the front opening has a panel of patterned glass. The clock comes complete with pendulum and key and when it was set up had previously worked. Both case and movement would benefit from some minor TLC but otherwise it’s a simple and decent clock to look at.
