John Hubbard Antiques was founded in Birmingham in 1968. As a second generation antiques dealer, John's expertise has always been 18th & 19th century furniture and although he still stocks all types of antiques and fine art, he now specialises in fine 19th century desks and boasts an impressive collection of writing slopes. All our stock has been, where necessary, sympathetically cleaned and restored in our own workshops. Our skilled staff are experts in restoration and conservation of fine art and are highly skilled in all aspects of cabinet making, French polishing, leather lining (desk leathers) and upholstery. All work is overseen by the watchful eye of proprietor John Hubbard to ensure that all restoration work is carried out to the highest possible standards. Clients are encouraged to get in touch for more information on any item of stock listed. High resolution images are availble for most pieces and these can aid a prospective purchase. Just e-mail us with the stock number and your requirements and we'll respond almost immediately.
