This is a lovingly preserved vintage rocking horse from the Baby Carriages 'stable'.
Carefully shaped and carved, he has a well defined profile and has his head held high and tucked in. He also retains his original dappled paint pattern. Both of these features are trademark characteristics of the Baby Carriage brand.
A worn BCL Rambler manufacturers stamp remains on the stand - in the centre of the bottom rail
The saddle has been renovated and replacement stirrups added, as well as a carefully matched horse hair mane and tail to compliment his dappled colouring.
