Circa 1870. A stylish mid Victorian oak walnut score board, with a moulded top, with a name stenciled in the frieze ‘J. Ashcroft, Victoria Street, Liverpool’, the board with chalk panel in the center for recording scores, sliding panels on both sides for the various games of Billiards and Snooker, two numbered rotating arms with adjustable sliding score keepers, the base section with 5 apertures on each side, and coloured ivory roundels, all with glass front for viewing the tokens inside, with drawers beneath, the center has a long glass panel for storing the billiard balls. Recently polished and in excellent condition.
